Are all the images on the IconBAZAAR copyright free?

NO. Many are copyrighted to Randy D. Ralph. Read the conditions of use. The copyright status of the collected and contributed images can be questionable. To the best of the developer's knowledge they are in the public domain. Use them at your own risk.

Can I use as many images from the IconBAZAAR as I want?

NO. Limit your personal use of images from these archives to 20 images or less if you can. Please inquire about permission to use more.

Are all IconBAZAAR images available for free?

YES and NO. There is no usage or licensure fee required for limited use of up to twenty (20) copyrighted images from these archives by private individuals or not-for-profit organizations. All commercial use of copyrighted images requires appropriate compensation. See the image licensure policies and fee structure. Contact Randy D. Ralph if you have any questions.

Do I need to acknowledge the IconBAZAAR as the source of the images I use?

PLEASE DO. Although it is not required acknowledgement in your credits is appreciated. Also appreciated is a link back to the IconBAZAAR from your pages. You may use either of the two logo images displayed below for your links.

How do I:

Download images from IconBAZAAR pages?

PC users -

When you see an image you want to download click on it using the right mouse button. A dialog box will appear in your browser. Use the save as option to download the file. You can specify a location on your local machine and change the file name if you wish. Low end users - remember that file names more than 8 characters long cannot be saved in your directories. You must change the filename if it is longer than 8 characters, excluding the file name extension (usually .GIF or .JPG).

MAC users -

When you see an image you want to download click on it using the mouse button and hold for a second or two. A dialog box will appear in your browser. Use the save as option to download the file. Place images from the IconBAZAAR on my WWW pages?

Download the images you want using the instructions above. Remember to comply with copyright restrictions and abide by all conditions of use. You must upload the images to your Internet service provider into a directory accessible from the HTML code that addresses your image files. The HTML code -

<img src="image.fil">

will place an image on your page, where "image.fil" is the name of the image you want to display. Please note that this the minimal code required to place the image as an inline graphic on your page and that there are many more options available to you.
